NEW YORK Itinerary
(1)« These "little towns" are models for a new humanity. They are real, tiny little towns made up of houses, schools, small factories and workshops. The evangelical law of reciprocal love is practiced by all those living there; as a consequence there is a great communion of cultures, of spiritual as well as material goods among everyone. Tens of thousands are the visitors every year. In the USA, in Hyde Park,( NY) there is a "little town" that can be a model for dialogue among people of different races and cultures. » (2)« The Focolare movement is present in all continents and has the characteristics of a small "people" of different races, cultures and languages, who is commited to bring about a world in which there is more solidarity, more unity. Check-in at the Double Tree Hotel*** outside of New York city, by Newark airport. Holy Saturday, April 15th, 2006 The afternoon will be free. You will have the possibility to visit a museum, visit the United Nations headquarter, do some shopping or go up the Empire State Building if you wish (at your own expenses). In the evening we will meet the Bronx brothers and we'll celebrate the Easter Vigil with them and their community. Easter Sunday, April 16th, 2006
