Afternoon departure on a transatlantic flight, with a stopover in Europe.
Day 2
Saturday
29 october
In the afternoon arrival in Tel Aviv and transfer to your hotel
on the shores of the Mediterranean Sea (possibility of
swimming).
Overnight in Tel Aviv.
Day 3
Sunday
30 october
Short drive to the ancient port city of Jaffa, the city of the
prophet Jonah, Tabitha and Simon the Tanner .Continuation
along the Mediterranean Sea to Caesarea Maritima, the
place where St. Peter baptised the first gentile (Acts 10) and
Paul was imprisoned before being taken to Rome. Visit the
Roman Theatre built by King Herod, the ancient Phoenician,
Roman and later Crusader port, the Crusader City and the
aqueduct. Continue to Muhraqa, on Mt. Carmel, where the
prophet Elijah slew the priests of Baal (I Kings 18).
Continuation to Nazareth.Overnight in Nazareth.
Day 4
Monday
31 october
Today we will visit Nazareth, where Jesus spent the first 30
years of his life (John 2:1-11). At the time a little unknown
village, today Nazareth is one of the largest Arab cities in
Israel. We will visit the orthodox Church of St. Gabriel,
which contains the village’s well form the time of Jesus; we
will walk though the market to the Church of the
Annunciation. In the afternoon we will drive to Cana,
where his Jesus performed his first miracle, converting eater
into wine. Overnight in Nazareth.
Day 5
Tuesday
01 november
We will drive down towards the Sea of Galilee, where Jesus
walked on the sea (Matt 11) and visit the Mt. Of Beatitudes,
the traditional site of the Sermon on the Mount (Matt. 5-7),
with its beautiful view over the lake. Continue towards
Tabgha, the traditional site of the miracle of the
Multiplication of the Fishes and the Loaves (Luke 9:10-17)
and the Church of the Primacy (John 21). We will then
drive to Capernaum. Visit the synagogue, Visit the
synagogue where Jesus most certainly taught and
worshipped (Matt.4: 13; Mark 3:1, 8:5 and 14), the house of
St. Peter and view the ruins from the village of the “Town of
Jesus». We will enjoy a peaceful a boat ride on the Sea of
Galilee. Overnight in Nazareth.
Day 6
Wednesday
02 november
A sojourn over the Golan Heights will bring us to the
observation point over Quneitra (Syria); then further on to
Banyas, also known as Caesarea Philipi, where Jesus
revealed himself to Simon and changed his name to Peter
after asking “Who do the people say is the Son of Man?”
(Matt. 16:13). We will walk along the one of the springs of
the Jordan River and continue to the largest spring, the
River Dan. From there, we will go on through Northern
Galilee past Chorazim and Bethsaida back to Nazareth.

Day 7
Thursday
03 november
A morning drive will bring us to the ancient city of Beit
Shean, one of the largest archaeological sites in the country,
to visit its beautiful theater, roman bathhouse and impressive
streets from the Roman and Byzantine periods. We will
then go through the Jordan Valley , along the Jordanian
border, to the oasis of Jericho, the oldest city in the world
that has existed for about 10,000 years. Jericho was also the
scene of the Healing of a blind man (Mark 10:46-52) and the
Conversion of Zaccheus (Luke 19:1-10). We will, then,
proceed though the Judean desert to Holy City of Jerusalem.

Day 8
Friday
04 november
A short drive will bring us to Bethlehem, the birthplace of
King David and Jesus (Matt. 1: 18-25; Luke 2:1-7). The city
is inhabited by one of the oldest Christian communities in
the world. There we will visit the Church of the Nativity,
the Church of St Catherine and the Shepherd’s fields.
If time allows, we will visit the Herodion, built as a fortress
palace by King Herod the Great.

Day 9
Saturday
05 november
Short drive to Mt. of Olives, the site of the Ascension of
Jesus, (Acts 1:9-12), with its beatiful view over the golden
city of Jerusalem. We will first visit the Pater Noster
Church, where Jesus taught his disciples the Lord’s prayer
and then we will walk down towards Garden of
Gethsemane, where Jesus prayed in Agony (Matt. 26:30).
Visit the Garden of Gethsemane, the Church of All Nations
and the Tomb of the Mary. We will walk to Mt. Zion, where
we will visit the Cenacle, the traditional site of the Last
Supper (Matt. 26:26-30), and the Church of Peter in
Gallicantu.Overnight in Jerusalem.

Day of leisure in Jerusalem.

Day 11
Monday
07 november
A walk through the Suq (Arab market) will bring us to the
Holy Sepulchre or Church of the Resurrection, site of the
crucifixion, burial and resurrection of Jesus. We will then
visit the Bethesda Pools. In John 5, Jesus was reported
healing a man at the pool. View the St Anne Church, an
impressive crusaders structure with amazing acoustics. We
will then visit the Lithostrotos In John 19:13, we read that
that Pilate: » brought Jesus forth, and sat down in the
judgment seat, in the place that is called Lithostrotos, and in
Hebrew Gabbatha." Overnight in Jerusalem.
Day 12
Tuesday
08 november
Today we wll drive down to the oasis of Jericho, the oldest
city in the world (approx. 10,000 years old), the city
conquered by Joshua (Josh.6:20), the scene of the Healing of
a blind man (Mark 10:46-52) and the conversion of
Zaccheus (Luke 19:1-10). We will take the time for a swim
(or better said float) in the Dead Sea, 420 metres (1,378 ft)
below sea level whose shores are the lowest point on the
surface of the Earth on dry land. Overnight in Jerusalem.
Day 13
Wednesday
09 november
Ascend the Temple Mount and view the Dome of the Rock
and the El Aqsa Mosque. Beneath the mosques the Western
Wall, Judaism’s most sacred place, the only remaining
section from the temple.
We will then visit the little village of Ein Kerem, nestled in
the mountains of Jerusalem and hometown of Elizabeth and
John the Baptist. Overnight in Jerusalem.
